How About That?

Slowly
your walls are falling down
I see the yellow creeping through the cracks
So why do you feel so cold
Maybe I don’t know where I’m going and maybe that’s okay
Maybe I’m yet to learn the meaning of what you need will stay
Gently
Your hand against my back
I know this is what I’ve been dreaming of
But you should not be doing that
All I see are my desires staring back at me
I wish that you could feel the fire
That’s still burning in me
Cause you didn’t know I was coming
Oh, you wish so that you could tell me how you’re feeling
So how about that
How about that
Growing
How much have I gotta do
Sometimes I think the only things that I am sure of are the hardest things to prove
Maybe This is just a feeling that you’ll never understand
I tried to see where I went wrong
between the two of us
That’s the difference
Cause you didn’t know I was coming
Oh, you wish so that you could tell me how you’re feeling
So how about that
How about that

Rusty

If I take my time
Maybe I won’t have to try
I can freeze and no one will ask why
It’s useless feeling fear
All that you are, my dear
are fractals of light I make clear
Ooh coated blue
Every cell in my body vibrates for you
Ooh dressed up in pink
Pure and raw on my outside I slip down your sink
You make me soft
But I am rusty underneath, all this
So I am wet
But I am rusty underneath, all this
I live with mice that want me gone
I go willingly, singing a song
Bout how life’s better being alone
You said I believe your truth
So I emptied my guts into you
But your door closed and I never knew
Oooh Coated blue
Every cell in my body vibrates for you
Oooh dressed up in pink
My skin wrinkles and ages
When of you I think
You make me soft
But I am rusty underneath, all this
So I am wet
But I am rusty underneath, all this
Coated blue
There’s a rainbow behind me I just walked through
Dressed up in pink
Oh Where are you my darling?
I need you, I think

Lonely Stranger

Take a step back inside your head
It might sound pretty but it’s a mess
And push back the brick wall that keeps the words stuck behind your chest
It all comes out when he’s wasted
Ooh
Broken brandy glass
He says pour me back in my cask
Someone spilled too much of whatever I am
But your eyes say let’s pretend
Lonely stranger
Take me back to bed
I’m sick and tired of this old party
Lonely stranger
I will still remember your face
When I wake up in the morning
I’ve got something to show
The perfume on my neck seems to fade
Even faster when I’m with you
While your mind wanders on tangent
In another way
I scream wait up I’m right behind you
Ooh
Broken in my hands
He says I just don’t understand
Why do we take so long to show how much we care
Is it all in my head?
Lonely stranger
Take me back to bed
I’m sick and tired of this old party
Lonely stranger
I will still remember your face
When I wake up in the morning
If you knew me like you said you did
Why’d you run away when things start blooming
So leave these flowers growing from my head
They make me feel like I’m important
I’ve got something to show
Broken in my hands
He says I just don’t understand
Why do we take so long to show how much we care
Is it all in my...
